VMware showcases its latest innovations at Cairo ICT in Egypt

VMware is showcasing its latest innovations in cloud infrastructure, intrinsic security and digital workspace technology at the ongoing Cairo ICT, in Egypt. Touted to be the company’s biggest ever presence at the show, VMware will focus on demonstrating capabilities gained from two of its recent acquisitions, Carbon Black and AVI Networks.

VMware will also offer insights into its multi-cloud solution, which enables customers to manage their cloud cost, usage, security and performance from a single user-friendly interface.

Egypt is a key market for VMware, with the company already having a strong presence in the country and a proven track record of supporting the Egypt Vision 2030 by helping organizations to realise the benefits of enterprise technology. In particular, VMware is working with Egyptian organizations to help tackle the issue of complex technology environments. These can be difficult to maintain and secure, and VMware is empowering them to unlock the full potential of today’s technologies, whether it be through hybrid cloud services, by transforming the digital workspace or through the utilisation of mobile and smart devices.

The company is also expanding ICT knowledge in Egypt through its partner programs, and through recent initiatives such as its collaboration with Egypt’s Information Technology Institute (ITI), an affiliate of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), which aims to support Egyptian ICT students with professional training to help bridge the gap between academic studies and the skills needed in today’s competitive job market

VMware is exhibiting at Cairo ICT, Hall number 4, Stand 4E3.
