Epson to display innovative technologies at GITEX

Epson is participating in the region’s leading technology show, GITEX Technology Week 2019, and it will be showcasing a range of projector technologies to robotics, printing solutions, visual imaging and augmented reality.

A stand-out feature of this year’s Epson stand is a 180-degree shared virtual reality (VR) projection space, housed inside a custom created structure, providing an immersive projection experience. Three Epson EB-L1755U laser installation projectors with ELPLX02 ultra-short throw lenses are used to display the VR content. The projection space acts like a giant VR headset and provides visitors with a breathtaking shared VR experience.

We have a customised structure for shared VR experience, built with the support of our partner Igloo Visions, to give visitors an immersive unique VR experience. GITEX is also an opportunity for us to educate visitors on the benefits of our inkjet printing technology versus laser printers.”

In the education zone of Epson’s stand, visitors can interact with the Epson SCARAT3-401S robot which does an amazing job with simple pick-and-place applications, and is used in a huge range of industries, from assembling automotive components, to creating medical equipment and packaging medications. Epson also works with several education institutions to facilitate research in robotics.

The education zone will also feature Epson’s Moverio BT-35E smart glasses that allows you to connect drone monitors, cameras, game consoles, laptops, Android phones, and other video sources via HDMI or USB inputs. It is ideal for commercial applications such as healthcare, engineering and drone piloting.

Corporate visitors can marvel at the new Epson EB-1485Fi laser interactive projector display which will transform any workplace with its large scalable display of up to 120 inches. It enriches collaboration and engagement and allows sharing content from a range of devices simultaneously.

At GITEX this year, Epson presents the EB-L1070u from their professional display range. It’s a compact laser projector with 3LCD technology, interchangeable lenses and helps create stunning projections in auditoriums, lecture theatres, galleries, shopping centres and more. It offers bright (up to 7,000 lumens), detailed, vivid and colourful output. WUXGA HD resolution and 4K enhancement technology.

Epson’s much talked about EH-LS500w home cinema projector with its discreet design, will make its regional debut at GITEX. Providing a big screen experience, this ultra-short-throw laser projector offers 4K enhanced quality,4,000 lumens and a projection display of up to 130 inches.

Also, on the stand will be Epson’s business scanners, inkjet printers, large format printers and WorkForce printers. Epson’s stand will be in Hall 4, G20.
