Huawei and Etisalat have announced strategic co-operation to plan, design and supply next-generation pre-fabricated modular data centers in UAE, on Wednesday at the World Mobile Congress 2019.
To meet the development requirements of cloud and digital services in the future, Etisalat, UAE’s leading telecom operator, plans to build a new-generation, efficient, simple, reliable, and green data center with new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), to address the pain points of long delivery period, low O&M efficiency, and high energy consumption of traditional data centers, to improve the power, maintenance, and capacity efficiency of data centers.
The cooperation between Huawei and Etisalat aims to combine the rich experience, technologies, and resources of the two companies to promote the development of the cloud era data center and continue to contribute to the innovation of data center infrastructure. In addition, Etisalat can explore innovative ways to develop its cloud and digital services.
