DarkMatter has announced its participation at the upcoming RSA Conference USA taking place from 16-20 April, 2018 at the Moscone Centre in San Francisco. DarkMatter will showcase its innovation in areas including Cryptography, Secure Communications, Artificial Intelligence, and blockchain. Participating for the third consecutive year, this year the firm will also present its proprietary Cyber Security Resilience Platform.

The firm will be highlighting key operational and strategic developments, including offering an update on the commercial availability of its KATIM Phone.

Earlier this year DarkMatter announced the acceleration of its dedicated research function, consisting of three pillars: Artificial Intelligence; Quantum Technology, and Advanced Research. Within Artificial Intelligence, the firm is focusing on cutting-edge big data science, analytics, and Machine Learning, while additional resources are being dedicated to investigating the development and application of Quantum Computing and Quantum Algorithms.

Shreekant Thakkar (Ticky) was subsequently appointed Chief Scientist of DarkMatter’s Advanced Research division, where he is responsible for the development of key technologies and research for the firm’s new generation of products in the high impact areas of Secure Communications; End Point Functionality and Security; Internet of Things (IoT); and Smart Cities. Ticky will deliver a keynote address at RSA Conference USA on the fundamentals of “Enabling and Protecting our digital future” on Tuesday 17 April at 10.10am.

The firm will utilise its presence at RSA Conference USA to aid its recruitment drive for 2018.

RSA conferences are focused on cryptography and information security-related topics. The series draws over 45,000 people to conferences across North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, with the flagship USA event featuring information security experts from around the world.
