Philips Monitors, today unveiled its 32 inches new display monitor with 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD) resolution. The BDM3275UP display responds to growing demand for super-fine resolutions at comparatively modest screen dimensions. It offers 4K UHD clarity for detail-rich entertainment such as movies and games, as well as for data-intensive office applications.

This latest Philips Monitor 4K UHD (Ultra High Definition) display creates an even more complete line-up of screen sizes at the ultra-high resolution, which already features 28-inch, and 40-inch models. It offers rich 10-bit color support for natural, gradation-free color reproduction, Philips flicker-free technology to regulate brightness and reduce flicker, as well as an advanced IPS-AHVA panel for extra-wide viewing angles of 178 degrees, so the quality can be enjoyed from nearly any angle, even side on.

Thomas Schade, Vice President EMEA at MMD, says, “The 32-inch UltraClear UHD display gives users such as designers, architects and office professionals even greater midsize display choices for putting super-fine resolution on their desks. With its clarity and brilliance, 4K UHD really makes a difference to the viewing experience, retaining superb precision and detail even when users divide their screen into multiple areas. At 32 inches, the display is large enough to create a great sense of space, but it’s still compact enough to leave plenty of room on the desk.”

With superfast connectivity options including Display Port for data transfer speeds of up to 10.8 Gbps, MHL for streaming mobile content (while charging the mobile device at the same time), universal HDMI and USB 3.0, the new display enables users to connect high bandwidth digital sources and enjoy uncompressed video and audio content with zero-latency refresh in dazzling UHD 4K clarity. Built-in stereo speakers provide high quality audio to complement the viewing experience. The display also features MultiView technology, so users can simultaneously view streams from two devices (PC and notebook, for instance) in separate screen partitions.

The monitor also features a Smart ErgoBase that enables it to be tilted, swiveled and lowered almost to desk level for a comfortable viewing angle. The monitor base also manages cables neatly, reducing cable clutter on the desktop.
