Consolidated Gulf Co launches 3G mobile router

Netcomm MyZone Mobile 3G router

Qatar based Consolidated Gulf Co (CGC) recently launched MyZone mobile 3G router from NetComm in Qatar.

MyZone is compact and portable yet has the ability to connect multiple devices, it can support up to six wireless devices concurrently such as notebooks, smartphones, cameras and gaming consoles.

Its integrated lithium-ion battery delivers power for up to six hours of operation and 40 hours whilst idle. It allows users to charge via the included micro USB cable while maintaining its WiFi signal.

MyZone is compatible with all the 3G networks in Qatar and also most of the 3G networks across the globe. It supports Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems and delivers download speeds of up to 7.2Mbps and upload speeds of 5.76Mbps for large file transfers.

The device also offers users an intuitive user interface, enabling non-technical users to easily set up and configure their MyZone. The MyZone platform supports 3G Tri-band 850MHz, 1900MHz, and 2100MHz for local and international services.
