Kingston brings Data Traveler 4000 to the region

Kingston, announced the launch of Data Traveler 4000 – Managed (DT4000-M) USB Flash drive, a fully managed version of the company’s DataTraveler 4000 product.

Specifically developed and priced for enterprise deployments, the FIPS 140-2 validated DT4000-M leverages SafeConsole for Kingston server software from BlockMaster to deliver best-in-class USB protection, flexibility and centralised management control at an affordable cost for organizations in the Middle East.

“Through our own anecdotal research here in the Middle East, we found that similar challenges are arising daily highlighting a significant number of data breaches from USB loss or misuse,” said Antoine Harb, Business Development Manager – MEA, Kingston.

Encryption can protect data from unauthorised access, but in some cases adds complications that prompt employees to circumvent company-approved drives in favour of consumer drives for ease of use.

Addressing these business, technology and user dynamics, the DT4000-M is the only enterprise-focused drive on the market to meet the requirements of all stakeholders.
