Allied Telesis touts Star Partner Programme

Allied Telesis, a manufacturer of secure IP/Ethernet switching solutions has launched its long-awaited Star Partner Programme for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The launch of the Star Partner Programme will also see the vendor embark on a partner recruitment drive as Allied Telesis aims to cement its foothold in the health, education, utilities and public sector and IP surveillance segment.

Buoyed by the MENA region IP/Ethernet and video solutions potential, Allied Telesis is also preparing a robust expansion plan for the next three years to strengthen it footprint in the networking industry in the UAE and the MENA region.

Francesco Stramezzi, VP of channel sales, Allied Telesis, explains that the company believes that success is built on relationships and relationships are built on trust. “We are continuously adding new technology solutions to our portfolio to me the growing demand of customers in all areas and specifically IP surveillance, healthcare, and education,” he says. “We are helping initiate new revenue streams for channel partners in the region and capture a larger market share.”

Stramezzi explains that by offering valued added solutions and tools during the sales process through the Star Partner Programme Allied Telesis can drive the revenue-generating practices of partners in the UAE.

He says that the Star Partner Programme provides the ideal communications vehicle to the channel providing all the ingredients for success in their reseller business.

The Allied Telesis Star Partner Programme provides reseller and system integrators in the MENA region access to varied benefits like information on Allied’s products and solution enabling them to understand the competition, and to help bid correct solutions for users’ requirements.

Channel partners on the Star programme will also have access to customised campaigns and solution programmes designed to fit business needs, including business and technical collateral, project assistance and technical support for project business. In addition, partners will receive free online training through Webinars and adventure-based learning, keeping them abreast on new products, strategies and solutions. Channel partners on the Star programme will also have exclusive access to the Allied Telesis partner portal, allowing a 24 x 7 access to valuable information.

Sabbahuddin Khan, regional manager at Allied Telesis MENA, says through the Star programme channel partners will find doing business with Allied very rewarding. “Through the Star initiative, we will be able to drive more value business to the door steps of those partners that are willing to invest some energy into growing with Allied,” he concludes.
